Cross Body Lead Salsa

Join us for what we hope will be an exciting 12 weeks learning the fun social dance that is salsa!With the emphasis on fun, you'll learn salsa timing, technique, how to lead and follow, and different turn patterns.By the end of these 12 weeks you should have a solid grounding in cross body lead salsa and feel confident as you start thinking about attending social events to practice your moves.This is a friendly, supportive environment in which to learn, practice, ask questions, enjoy the music, and meet likeminded people.

About Your Teacher: Sharon Mayfield

Sharon has nurtured a passion for dancing her whole life, beginning with Ballroom and Latin at a young age.

Dancing salsa for nearly 20 years and learning with the best teachers in the UK, she is also passionate about dancing and teaching Bachata, another fun social dance.

Her ability to dance as both a leader and follower means she has a crucial insight into the experience and needs of both parties.

Sharon describes the experience of dancing as 'Alchemy'. The experience of the movement to the music and the connection with someone on the dance floor is like no other. Magical! She wants to share that with you.
