The Regency Dance Centre is often asked to provide demonstrations for local groups, parties and private functions. 

Recently, myself and my dance partner Sian were asked to perform for the Tibshelf WI group and for a 100th birthday at a care home in Matlock. 

On Monday 13th April we went to Tibshelf Community School where we were greeted by the organisers of the Tibshelf Woman's Institute and over 70 members. As part of the evening we were asked to give a workshop in the Cha Cha Cha. The evening was finished with a ballroom demonstration where we performed a Slow Waltz and a Tango. It was a very successful evening that was enjoyed by all. 

On Tuesday 21st April we went to Valley Lodge Care Home in Matlock to perform for a lovely lady called Lillian, one of the residents at the home, for 100th bithday party. Our demonstration was a surprise, organised by her granddaughter, as she was a founding member of the Victory Dancing Club in Stocksbridge. It was an absolute privilege to see our show bring back fond memories and it was an honour to hear her talk about her dancing days.
