Learn to Dance Free and Dance For Charity!
The Regency Dance Centre has teamed up with the charity, Lepra to bring you the Strictly Ballroom Gala 2019, and we are looking for participants to take part in this very special event! No dance experience is required to take part, just lots of enthusiasm and excitement!
We are looking for individuals or couples to perform at a Strictly style event on Saturday 21st December 2019. Over the course of 6 weeks, you will receive 6 dance classes from professional dance teachers at The Regency Dance Centre to learn one of two routines. You will then perform these routines at our "Strictly Ballroom Gala 2019" at The Regency Ballroom where you will be judged by our panel of judges. The couple with the highest score will win the title of Champions!
As this event is for the charity Lepra, participants will be expected to set up a fundraising page to get sponsorship to participate, as well as sell tickets for the performance. Leprosy is easily treatable and does not need to exist in the modern world. With your help, we can become one step closer to beating Leprosy once and for all.
